“Deepen” has quietly emerged as my new word for 2026. The wheel is turning toward Yule and my studio is full of spirit dolls, altar items and jewellery made from bone, thread and stone - each awaiting new homes. I’m getting ready for a run of winter markets and would love to share my new creations with you lovely lot. These Spirit Dolls are the heart of my work, created through ritual, play, curiosity and intuition. Meet my spirit dolls - beings birthed to drumbeat through ancient reverence. 🌀 Every creatress needs her familiar. This pretty spaniel is my sweet Nala. While I stitch spirit dolls and shape talismans, she keeps watch from her stinky little basket throne beside me in my studio corner. 🥰 🕯️🐾 Sometimes you just gotta stim in the woods ygm #shewasafairy 🧚🏼 🌳 🪨 🌲 🌞 This Samhain I’ve been honouring release. 🖤 Letting go of the need to be palatable and dimming my own fire. I’m also letting go of pushing too far, an old habit of ignoring my body’s whispers until they become shouts. Still feeling the buzz from Saturday’s @nightfairmarket Samhain event at the beautiful @theminories in Colchester - my best market to date! 🥹 💃🏼🍂🪶🖤 So, I weave now… 🧶 Been spending lots of time at the loom lately, the softness of weaving has been a slow, grounding magick and I can’t flipping wait to see what crafty creations form at my fingertips. Soft fibres, seasonal colours and the usual shenanigans in my chaos corner. It’s all about the balance, baby.
